Continued Success For New Boy
New Boy continues its successful festival run with recent wins in Melbourne and New York. Writer/Director, Steph Green and Producer, Tamara Anghie have just returned from a successful trip to Melbourne and Tokyo where the film screened at the Melbourne International Film Festival and the Kodomotachino Film Festival respectively. Screening to sold out crowds in both cities, the film won the Shannon's Way Prize for a film promoting Human Rights in Melbourne while over the same weekend, it won First Prize for Best Short Film at the Rhode Island Film Festival in New York. New Boy has now won multiple awards around the globe including Best Narrative Short at the Tribeca Film Festival 2008, the IFTA for Best Short Film 2008 and a Special Mention at the Berlinale 2008.
