Synopsis: Mother has finally died. Her son, Marcus Piggwellian, a Dalkey snob, thinks he's set to inherit her fortune. But Mother has other ideas. The idle Marcus, always a brandy in hand, expectantly moves in to her crumbling mansion. But at the reading of the will, Marcus discovers to his horror that he has an older brother.
Mother put Spencer up for adoption at birth. Raised by a loving family in Finglas South he has dredged his way to the top of the sewer department of Dublin Corporation - he now drives the van.
The brother learn that the inheritance of Mother's untold fortune depends on completing a list of tasks and more importantly finding a way of doing it together!
Overseeing the completion of the list is the family solicitor, Charles McGillicuddy, a country lawyer who has his own agenda.
